LIVE BRIEF: Ideas

Note to self re briefs:
book cover briefs are cool:
- read the book. pick out/find out key aspects to the story, props, people, quotes, colours etc
- then visually depict all the elements in a variety of media and documentation / observational processes and techniques. then arrange using scale, rotate - apply compositional techniques to display what I have found - in a vignette / poster aesthetic - for the front of the book.
tell a story with the subject elements i choose to appear in each "collection" / book cover

this would be perfect for the sherlock book brief
investigative
reportage
collecting to solve crimes
display knowledge
better understand what the book is about - this investigation draws parallels with the investigation of sherlock
as it is a mystery - keep the audience guessing - only parts of the puzzle as the vignettes - obscure, hidden message - what does each mean and how do they relate to one another?
scan in and digitalise each bit to print the cover?
collage of important but obscure elements.
collections show investigation and consideration and scrutiny of each part and the bigger message / piece to the puzzle it provides.

EDITIONS - cabinet of curiosities: project ideas
