In light of this feedback, I am going to take on board Matts comments and apply this to my own work and the briefs to come in the future. Making mistakes and experimenting with media that I don't know so well is a really important part of growing as an illustrator and can lead to and help develop exciting new skills. There is little point in keeping within my comfort zone and limiting myself - "You don't know if you don't try" and hopefully exploring new ways in which to approach my work will help me gain more confidence in my practice.
