Session Notes:
artboard tool- use to adjust size of artboard
view>rulers: shows dimensions/allows control of position of things
left click+pull/double click on number on ruler: make guides
lock guides: useful as template
alt+click: duplicates object
direct selection tool (A): use to click any anchor point to adjust shape
paste in place: pastes object in the same place as other one
using shape builder tool: merges shapes together
select all shapes first, then click on tool
click on one shape then drag to the other shape you want to merge it with
create line>click stroke: make dashed line
if making double sided packaging, put crop marks outside packaging border so fold/cut lines won't interfere with design
create layer under net (template) for any designs you want to put on packaging to
avoid misalignment
