Feathr - Concept Research: "Most Creative Home Wallpapers"

http://www.oddee.com/item_96993.aspx

Article shows how design, concept and application can really push the boundaries of what wallpaper can be and do for a space.

Taking into consideration the space/setting in which I would like my design and overall product to be applied is something I feel I need to take into consideration with this brief. Mainly in terms of the size of pattern/ repeat and the colour palette. These heavily impact the overall feel of a room and could determine what the paper/design is used for: bright, bold, heavily patterned designs tend to be used sparingley within an interior such as accent walls and feature spots. Subtle use of colour and pattern are more likely to be used for larger areas of application and work well when crossing over into other product areas such as homeware, fashion, stationary etc.

This article is interesting because these designs seem to throw the idea of "most applyable and desirable product/design" and instead focus on the creative immersive impact.
