Animated Sting: Chosen Soundtrack

So after much deliberation, I have completely abandoned my previous research and found a piece of music with an intro that I feel will really work well within my animation.
As mentioned previously, I wanted something light hearted and easy to listen too. I didn't wasn't too many things going on, as i don't want the soundtrack to my sting to take away from the animated visuals.

A practitioner who has had a major influence on my work personally is Mr Penfold. I have spoken a lt about him and his works over previous modules since starting this course, and it was only the other day whilst listening to my "favourites" playlist on you tube that a video of him doing his thing came up.

I have listened too and watched the video so many time, simply because I love the soundtrack, which is mixed by his very talented DJ of a brother Logistics (A very talented family, with another DJ and artists as well as these two).

Anyway once the video began to play, the soundtrack just clicked for me. It is easy listening and light hearted like i wanted, however the mix of it created by Logisitics, although awesome, has a little too much going on for my sting in terms of beats and breaks.

I did my research and found the original track which is sampled in the Mr Penfold video and voila, I have my animated sting soundtrack taken from the opening of a 1960's lovely old, kind of jazzy / bluesy backing, big classic: "Here i am" - Dionne Warwick.
